something so good for our coastal
habitat have such a foul smell?

It’s just nature at work.
Between May and October, our
mangrove forests produce seeds that
fall and break down in our wetlands.
That decaying organic matter may
produce an unpleasant gas that
smells like rotten eggs. Ew!
